He was also a coach to people who wanted to be involved in rescuing animals. He trained the volunteers on assessing situations, humane approach to animals, and proper care at the critical stages of rescues. His target was that any animal rescued would have an excellent chance at survival and recovery, like what happened to Bella.
Although Bella is dead, for him, she remained to be a big anchor in his life. He could find solace in the belief that she had left behind heritage of hope and goodness. She changed not only his life but many others whom she touched, urging them to be good and act at a particular moment of time when one sees the world happen.
With time, the man continued to visit the shelter regularly, and with each visit, he heard new rescues, welcomed families who adopted animals, and got direct impact from his advocacy work. The life in every adoption is Bella’s story.
