The Puppy Care
Even though the attachment of the monkey and puppy seemed genuine, the owner took time ensuring the puppy was in good shape and not endangered. They always kept vigil on the pair to keep it safe, healthy, and safe. The community was also concerned, and they offered their support with regard to monitoring the unusual duo.
The owner was more interested in the puppy’s basic care. Sometimes, the monkey would share food, but to know whether the puppy was eating sufficiently, they left some food at fixed points, anticipating that the monkey would allow the puppy to feed there. Fortunately, this was possible, as the monkey was able to understand the arrangement; it took the puppy to the food, let it feed, then later resumed their play.
This set up became a harmonious compromise where the bond could be maintained while keeping the health of the puppy intact. It called for caution: it was respecting the role of the monkey yet keeping the puppy healthy and happy. This thus made relief for the owner as they became more open to the unique friendship.
