Puppy Emotional Development
The puppy that had initially been perplexed and was probably terrified now got accustomed to its new environment with the help of the monkey. Initially, the puppy seemed hesitant. It did not know about its new relationship, but the puppy became habituated to the monkey with the passage of time. The puppy seemed to be in a calm mood with the presence of the monkey; it was appropriately protected and accompanied by the monkey that provided safety and protection to the puppy.
Time and days went by; the puppy started to imitate all of the monkey’s behavior, thus clearly dependent on the latter. It clung to the monkey as if from that there derived warmth and comfort. Observations showed how the puppy grew confident and further trusted his caregiver.
This is a deep lesson on how well young animals can adapt, and the wonderful ways that they could find friendship and safety in the world.
